ABOUT THE Pistons: Like the Bucks, they will be well-rested. They have not played since Wednesday, when they defeated Miami in Detroit. The Pistons went 6-9 in January, which was their first losing month since February 2004. It broke a string of 26 consecutive months in which they posted a record of .500 or better. The Pistons rank third in the league in points allowed (93.1).

Antonio McDyess, Pistons

Coach Michael Curry admits that he might start McDyess for the final 20 games of the regular season and into the playoffs but for now, he anchors the bench. In his last five games, McDyess averaged 7.8 points and 10.6 rebounds in 31 minutes per game. He had 17 rebounds in the victory over Miami.
