Wade had 31 points and eight assists in Miami's 99-96 victory over surging Minnesota on Tuesday, improving the Heat (20-17) to 2-2 on their franchise-record seven-game road trip.

"He does so much for us and we don't take it for granted," Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said of Wade, who had 21 points in the first half alone. "We realize that that's his greatness: to be able to close out games after playing 38 minutes already and to make big plays on both ends of the floor."

Averaging 29.1 points on the season and 32.5 in his last four contests, the former Marquette star - who led the Golden Eagles to a Final Four appearance in 2003 - now heads back to Milwaukee. He'll try to lead the Heat to their first consecutive victories since a four-game winning streak from Dec. 19-26.

Though a knee injury kept him out of Miami's 112-106 win over the Bucks last March 18 in the teams' most recent meeting at the Bradley Center, Wade is averaging 28.2 points in his last five games at Milwaukee. He has topped the 30-point mark in each of his last two visits.

Miami has won five of its last eight games at the Bradley Center, but the Bucks are 11-6 there this season and already beat the Heat 98-83 in Miami on Dec. 15, when Wade and teammate Shawn Marion were held to 15 points apiece.

Marion had 16 and 11 rebounds Tuesday for Miami, which will conclude its trip this weekend with games at Houston and Oklahoma City.

Milwaukee, meanwhile, has alternated losses with wins over the last 10 games but has a chance to win two in a row after Monday night's 97-91 victory at Washington. Michael Redd had 29 points and Andrew Bogut added 18 with 10 rebounds in his return to the starting lineup for the Bucks, who overcame a 13-point deficit.

"We're moving in the right direction," coach Scott Skiles said. "Like a lot of teams floating around .500, we're looking for consistency."

Milwaukee (19-21) has a chance to achieve that with Bogut improving in two games after missing four with back spasms. He had 20 points and 11 rebounds in the Bucks' victory at Miami last month.

"It's still hurting a little bit. I have some problems to sort through," said Bogut, who is averaging 16.5 points and 12.0 rebounds in his last four games versus Miami. "I'm still working to get my back better and stronger."

A healthy Bogut provides a fine compliment to Redd, who is averaging 28.0 points on 51.5 percent shooting in his last five games.

Redd scored 21 points last month against Miami, and is averaging 24.0 in his last three contests versus the Heat.
