Jazz rally out of 23-point hole for OT win
MAITLAND, Fla. ? It seemed only fitting that Derrick Brown would come up with a critical three-point play in the final seconds to force overtime. After all, it was the rookie forward who brought the Utah Jazz back from the brink.

Brown, a second-round pick by the Charlotte Bobcats, scored 25 points on 10-of-15 shooting to power a fourth-quarter spurt that saw the Jazz rally from 23 points down for a 92-84 overtime victory over the Orlando Magic on Tuesday afternoon at the Orlando Pro Summer League. Utah Flash point guard Kevin Kruger teamed with Brown in leading Utah's late comeback while first-round draft pick Eric Maynor sat on the bench the entire fourth quarter. Kruger finished with 16 points. Maynor, on the other hand, netted just two points on 1-for-5 shooting and registered a single assist in 19 minutes of action. Orlando took control in the first half with a flurry of three-pointers. The Magic hit 7 of 13 shots from the perimeter before halftime ? led by Ryan Anderson, who scored 16 of his 26 points in the first half ? and used a 19-5 run to close out the first quarter and take a 29-17 lead. The Jazz rallied in the fourth behind the play of Brown and Kruger and cut the lead to three points with less than 30 seconds remaining. Then Brown scored a running layup and followed with a free throw to tie it at 84-84 with 14.4 seconds left. Utah took full advantage of the extra period by outscoring Orlando 8-0 in overtime. All eight of the Jazz's points came from the free-throw line.
