Andrew Bogut's back injury is rather unusual.

Bogut has an incomplete stress fracture in his lower back, an injury that is expected to keep the talented young center sidelined for a minimum of eight weeks.

"It's a very rare thing for a guy my age to have this," the 24-year-old Bogut said. "Usually, this happens with young people, people who are 16, 17 years old and their bodies are still growing."

Bogut, who has been instructed not to play any basketball for the next eight weeks, said he's been playing with excruciating pain for the last six weeks.

Bogut said he tried various pain-killers, and none of them squelched the pain.

"It's kind of like somebody stabbing a knife in your back when you don't even expect it," Bogut said.

PISTONS 126, BUCKS 121 (OT): The undermanned Bucks turned in an inspirational performance before losing Saturday night at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee. The short-handed Bucks, who are without starters Michael Redd, Andrew Bogut and Luke Ridnour, got monster outings from point guard Ramon Sessions and power forward Charlie Villanueva. Sessions scored a career-high 44 points, including 20 in the fourth quarter and overtime. Sessions also had 12 assists. Villanueva totaled 33 points, making 11 of 20 shots from the field. Villanueva fouled out early in the overtime.
