Milwaukee Bucks Getting Inside 2009-03-28

Milwaukee Bucks Getting Inside 2009-03-28
With Andrew Bogut on the floor, the Bucks always had a legitimate low-post scorer. With Bogut off the floor, the Bucks' interior offense is virtually nonexistent.

Bogut hasn't played since Jan. 31 after suffering an incomplete stress fracture to the lower back. His absence has been felt. With Bogut sidelined, Francisco Elson and Dan Gadzuric have been sharing the center duties. Neither player has stepped up offensively.

Elson has scored in double-figures only twice -- both 10-point performances -- this season. In two of the last 10 games, he's failed to score a single point. Gadzuric has been equally ineffective offensively. In 57 games this season, he's never scored more than 12 points in any of them. In his last eight games, Gadzuric has scored 30 points -- a measly 3.7 points a game.

MAGIC 110, BUCKS 94: After getting annihilated by the Magic 106-80 last Wednesday night in Milwaukee, the Bucks played considerably better Friday night in Orlando. The Bucks stayed within striking range of the Magic until early in the fourth quarter when Orlando pulled away. Point guard Ramon Sessions had a solid game for the Bucks, finishing with 19 points and four assists. Charlie Bell also finished with 19 points. The loss left the Bucks with a 31-42 record and put them four games out of the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference playoff standings.
