--G Damon Jones, whom the Bucks acquired during the offseason in a trade with Cleveland, didn't report to camp. It was a mutual decision, as Jones probably would have been the third shooting guard behind Michael Redd and Charlie Bell. Some teams have expressed interest in Jones' services, and it is believed the Bucks are willing to split Jones' salary of $4.46 million for this season.
--The Bucks open their regular season on the road against the Bulls in Chicago on Oct. 28. The Bucks will play seven of their first 10 games away from the Bradley Center. While Bucks owner Herb Kohl, a United States senator, was immersed in working on an emergency economic bailout bill, he still found time to fly from Washington to Milwaukee last week to watch the Bucks work out.
