Milwaukee Bucks Notes, Quotes 2009-01-01
--The Bucks' loss to the Rockets Wednesday night was their eighth straight to Houston. They have lost nine straight in Houston.

--After falling to the Rockets Wednesday night, the Bucks are now only 4-16 against teams with a winning record this season.

--The Bucks have yet to activate veteran G Damon Jones. Jones, whom the Bucks acquired in a trade from Cleveland over the summer, joined the team last week.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "The summer before my junior year in high school. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was in my high school gym in Beijing, China. It was after I played a game with my brothers and our best friends. I blocked one of our friends, like, 10 times during the game and he got (angry) and pushed me. And then, after the game, I got (angry). I was really mad and I said, 'Hey, watch this.' I sprinted from the 3-point line and did a one-hand dunk. It was so cool because I had never dunked before, but for some reason, at that moment, I knew I was going to be able to do it. It was really weird." -- Bucks F Joe Alexander on the first time he ever dunked. Alexander is one of three rookies being considered for the Slam Dunk Contest at next month's NBA All-Star Game in Phoenix.
