Milwaukee Bucks Notes, Quotes 2009-11-05

Milwaukee Bucks Notes, Quotes 2009-11-05--The Bucks declined to pick up the third-year option on forward Joe Alexander's contract. Alexander struggled as a rookie and then pulled a hamstring just prior to the start of training camp and has been sidelined ever since. Alexander was the eighth overall selection in the 2008 draft and thus becomes the highest draft choice ever to have the third-year option declined.

--After playing the Timberwolves Friday night in Minneapolis, the Bucks will play six straight games at home in the Bradley Center, starting Saturday night against the Knicks. The Bucks will then host the Nuggets, Warriors, Mavericks, Nets and Bobcats.

--Another game at the United Center, another loss for the Bucks. After losing to the Bulls Tuesday night, the Bucks have now lost eight consecutive games at the UC. The Bucks are 36-63 all-time on the Bulls' home court.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "I said to him, 'Mike, what are you doing? You're too old to be dunking. You can't be doing that anymore.'" -- Bucks guard Charlie Bell on 30-year-old Michael Redd, who has hurt his knee three times in the last four seasons while attempting to dunk.
