--The Bucks planned to have a small contingent of officials attending the Pre-Draft Combine in Chicago, including general manager John Hammond, assistant general manager Jeff Weltman, player personnel director Dave Babcock, scouting director Billy McKinney and head coach Scott Skiles. --Bucks coach Scott Skiles is a huge college basketball fan and has monitored all of the pre-draft workouts at the team's practice facility in St. Francis.
QUOTE TO NOTE: "We'll take a swing at this and see if this is better. Already guys are bailing on this. So, if you believe in trends, the trend is probably going in the direction where, at some point, there won't be any (pre-draft workouts). And I'm not sure that isn't bad. I'm not so sure that relying on scouting and the guys and bringing them (draft prospects) in on your own isn't also the way to go." -- Bucks coach Scott Skiles on how the Chicago Pre-Draft Combine won't include five-on-five games this year.
