Milwaukee Bucks Notes, Quotes 2009-09-04
--Barring something unforeseen, the Bucks will be under the luxury tax threshold again this season. The Bucks' payroll is $68.31 million -- or $1.6 million under the threshold. That doesn't include their $1 million qualifying offer for restricted free agent guard Ramon Sessions, who has received an offer sheet from the Minnesota Timberwolves. The offer is for four guaranteed seasons and a player option in the fifth season.

--Fox Sports Wisconsin will televise 70 Bucks games this season -- 35 at the Bradley Center and 35 on the road. Jim Paschke will return for his 24th year as the team's play-by-play announcer, and Jon McGlocklin will be back for his 34th season as an analyst.

--Bucks general manager John Hammond has met with Bucks season-ticket holders on a couple of occasions this summer. Recently, Hammond spoke to a group of season-ticket holders at a tailgate party outside of Miller Park before a Milwaukee Brewers baseball game.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "He has a long wingspan and is deceivingly quick for a guy his size. He can help us defensively. Coach (Scott Skiles) can really use a point guard with that type of length to harass other point guards." -- C Andrew Bogut on 6-foot-5 guard Roko Ukic, whom the Bucks recently acquired in a trade with the Raptors.
