
--UCLA F Kevin Love, in an interview at the NBA Pre-Draft Camp in Orlando, Fla. said he "loves Milwaukee" and doesn't have any qualms about playing for the Bucks, who have the eighth overall pick. Love added he would be intrigued playing alongside Bucks C Andrew Bogut and F Yi Jianlian.
--F Yi Jianlian, who missed the last eight regular-season games because of a sprained left knee, hasn't been cleared to practice with the Chinese National Team. It isn't known when Yi will be given clearance to practice. --Bucks assistant coach Lionel Hollins has returned from spending time in Southeast Asia as part of the NBA's Basketball Without Borders program.
--Former Bucks head coach Terry Stotts attended the NBA Pre-Draft Camp in Orlando, donning a Dallas Mavericks' pass. Stotts will be one of Rick Carlisle's assistant coaches, although no official announcement on Stotts' hiring has been made.
--Brian James, who was let go by the Bucks after the season, coached one of the teams at the Pre-Draft Camp.
--The last several seasons, then-Bucks general manager Larry Harris opened the pre-draft workouts to the media. Current Bucks GM John Hammond isn't sure he'll go that route. Hammond was the president of basketball operations for the Pistons before getting the Bucks' gig and the Pistons didn't allow the media to observe draft prospects working out.
