Milwaukee Bucks Roster Report 2008-11-02

Milwaukee Bucks Roster Report 2008-11-02
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Ramon Sessions, Shooting guard Michael Redd, Small forward Richard Jefferson, Power forward Charlie Villanueva, Center Andrew Bogut. Bench -- Center Dan Gadzuric, Power forward Malik Allen, Point guard Tyronn Lue, Shooting guard Charlie Bell, Small forward Luc Mbah a Moute.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Ramon Sessions made his first start of the season, replacing the injured Luke Ridnour. Sessions played well offensively, getting 12 points and nine rebounds, but struggled defensively against the Raptors' Jose Calderon.

--F Charlie Villanueva turned in his second straight strong showing, finishing with 16 points and five rebounds against the Raptors. However, Villanueva was on the bench down the stretch when the game was on the line.

--C Dan Gadzuric wasn't sure he'd even be on the Bucks roster this season after Milwaukee hired a new general manager, John Hammond, and a new head coach, Scott Skiles.

Gadzuric not only is on the team, but he's getting good minutes. Gadzuric played 16 minutes against Oklahoma City, 14 against Chicago and 16 against Toronto.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--G Luke Ridnour (back spasms) missed his first game of the season. Ridnour said after Saturday's game against the Raptors that he wouldn't fly to New York with the team for Sunday's game against the Knicks. Ridnour said he hopes to play Wednesday against the Wizards at the Bradley Center.

--C Andrew Bogut (sprained left ankle) started against the Raptors and didn't seem bothered by his injury. Bogut played 31 minutes.
