Milwaukee Bucks Roster Report 2009-09-10

Milwaukee Bucks Roster Report 2009-09-10PLAYER NEWS:

--G Carlos Delfino, who played in Russia last season, was traded along with G Roko Ukic, from the Raptors to the Bucks in exchange for F Amir Johnson and G Sonny Weems. "Sometimes, you have those days, those black days, you don't know where to go, you feel stuck," said Delfino. "Hopefully, coming back to NBA, to Milwaukee, to this situation, I can (build) from what I did in Toronto."

--F Kurt Thomas is house hunting in Milwaukee. Thomas, whom the Bucks acquired in a trade with the Spurs, has been given strong assurances that he will not be traded any time soon -- if at all.

--G Michael Redd has been working out diligently all summer in his hometown of Columbus, Ohio. Redd, who is recovering from ACL surgery on his left knee, has been running and doing physical activities, although he has yet to pick up a basketball.

MEDICAL WATCH: None.

DRAFT PICKS:

Brandon Jennings, G, 6-1, Lottomatica Virtus Roma (Italy) (first round) -- Team officials are enamored with his upside and believe he has all the tools to eventually be a star player.

Jodie Meeks, G, 6-4, Kentucky (second round) -- Bucks general manager John Hammond said the team's scouting department had Meeks ranked considerably higher and never envisioned him falling to them in the second round, the 41st pick overall.
